In 2011, V.J. Salomone Marketing celebrated the 80th Anniversary of our strong association with The Procter & Gamble Company. This business association came about in 1931 following P&G’s acquisition of Thomas Hedley & Sons, a UK manufacturer of the Fairy Soap brand, of which V.J. Salomone was the local agent.
For Procter & Gamble, the acquisition was a major milestone as it marked its entry point into the British and European markets. For our organisation, this acquisition paved the way for a long term, and highly successful, business relationship with the world’s largest provider of consumer goods.
